The Christmas Bash was
discussed at the Pub last week and it was provisionally agreed to
hire the Estuary Bar for the Friday 19th December 2008, no time as
yet but say 7:00pm. It will be around £15.00 per head and includes a
Buffet and a DJ. Rooms aren't included and need organising directly
with Rhiannon. Any thoughts/comments on the date...? |

We now have clearance
for completion of the work at Poachers. As of next Thursday (31st)
that'll be our main project, with potentially a few Sundays thrown

the Wessex are up as usual for the Bank Holiday weekend and plans

aware, the Club Hut has been sold
(again) on eBay and has now been collected by the lucky buyer. It
got a reasonable amount which will further the Club greatly. |

member's Wives and Girlfriends, it's been discussed whether to
separate the Bash and A.G.M. for ease as we did last year.
Hence, the Bash is on
Saturday 12th January and the A.G.M. is the Thursday after. |

aware, the Club Hut, as agreed by the Members present, has been sold

Nothing spectacular and I'm sure the fortune we have received (!)
will further the Club greatly.

We'd like to take this
opportunity to thank Steve Brown and everyone at the Grosvenor for
helping to arrange and organise the trip to Powell's Lode on
Sunday 2nd September.
It was a shame more
people weren't available to attend on the day, but it was greatly
enjoyed by those who could, so, thanks again!
