The 1st pic below is taken from the wooden bridge and the last 2 are a rock bridge I found for the 1st time this morning.
Why do my photos appear as files when everyone else manages to display the actual photo? Any ideas?

The gate on the adit is probably to protect bat roosts. The woodland trust which own the woods list lesser Horseshoe and Natter's bats as roosting in the old mines. May be best to put on hold till early summer. Piling in now risks disturbing the bats, they will have started hibernating now and won't want to be woken up
 Interesting area with probably some digging potential, but may be a few hurdles from an archeological point of view... Dave |
